Mark 5:36
As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
There will always be temptation to not believe what God has promised you will come to pass. Circumstances will always try to speak louder than the truth. God is not a liar, what He says He will do. Take comfort in knowing that God will never leave you or forsake you. God does not run out in us when the going gets tough. He is our way maker and our strong tower, our shield and buckler. He will never fail us, we must believe in what He says to us. Jesus will never lead us astray. We believe from our heart not our mind. Jesus said in the above scripture be not afraid, only believe. Fear will try to strip you of your faith in God if you let it. Only believe! However you must choose what or who to believe. Don't believe in the circumstances, believe God!
What was Jesus telling the man to believe? He was telling him to believe that He would still heal his daughter even though the circumstances had gotten worse. God doesn't change even though circumstances do. God is the same today, yesterday and forever. He is our God and He will not fail us. Only Believe!
Amen, only believe. Only believe God's words versus everything else
