The Authority of Love

Authority defined:
  • the right or power to enforce rules or give orders.
The Love of God is God. Therefore, Love has all power. Nothing is more powerful than the Love of God. Love has the right to enforce the rules of the kingdom of God in a Christian’s life. Love has a right to give orders. In any kingdom there may be different levels of authority but the ultimate or highest authority belongs to the KING.

The authority of Love has the right to over throw and rule, anything and everything that is legally subject to it. Jesus declared in Matthew 28:18, “Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.”

Notice Jesus did not say some authority but rather, ALL AUTHORITY was given unto Him, in heaven and in earth. That authority was legally given to Him by God the Father, who is the only one that can delegate that kind of authority. After receiving all authority Jesus then delegates authority in His name to believers. Jesus demonstrated through His life here on the earth how to appropriate and operate in the authority of Love.

Love enforced the rules of the kingdom of God over nature, commanding peace and demanding calm. The sea, winds and waves obeyed.
Love enforced the rules of the kingdom over death, commanding life and people were raised from the dead.
Love enforced the rules of the kingdom of God over sickness and disease and bodies and minds were healed and restored.
Love enforced the rules of the kingdom of God over lack and increase began to flow, feeding multitudes.
Love enforced the rules of the Kingdom of God over bondages and addictions and many captives were set free.
The scriptures teach us that we should be imitators of God. We should in other words act like He acts; do what He does, and say what He says.

According to Romans 5:5, the Love of God has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. This being the case, we now too as believers have been given the legal authority to demonstrate and enforce the rules of the Kingdom of God.

You now have the right to cast out fear because you have been given the authority of Love. You now have a right to enforce health in your body. You now have a right to command freedom from depression and oppression. You now have a right to command nature and storms must obey you. You now have a right to do everything that Jesus did as a man anointed by God.

The authority of Love heals, builds and then reveals the glory of God. The authority of Love is in you right now, child of God, release its power, you have a right to do so. Permission granted…… by God!

Our Shepard is Always There

The Lord Jesus Christ loves you so much. No matter what you maybe going through He will never leave you nor forsake you. God is faithful to be with you and provide whatever you need; strength, courage, wisdom, protection, etc.

Meditate on His goodness today and allow the 23rd Psalms to refresh and renew your trust and dependence on our Lord, today.

Psalms 23 (amplified)
THE LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack
He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters.

He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him--not for my earning it, but] for His name's sake.

Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with [a]oil; my [brimming] cup runs over.

Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.

God Can--and He Will--Do What He Promised!

Luke 1:45
And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

Now of course you know that this verse applies to both male and female. Just thought that I would make that clear right from the start.

Elizabeth said something very profound in this verse of scripture; it was a declaration of faith in God. Blessed is he/she that BELIEVES, what God has said. Do you believe? Life is meaningless if we don’t believe God. Life is chaotic when we don’t believe God. Life is dangerous and deadly when we don’t believe God.

God is our Father, if we are going to believe anybody it should be Him. God will never lie to us or make promises that He cannot or will not fulfill. Our Father can be trusted with anything and all things.

What has God spoken to you about your life and purpose? You can trust Him to make good on what He has said but we must believe what He has said. God can and He will do what He has promised you, only believe.

The scripture says, “And [so] the Scripture was fulfilled that says, Abraham believed in (adhered to, trusted in, and relied on) God, and this was accounted to him as righteousness (as conformity to God's will in thought and deed), and he was called God's friend.” James 2:23 (AMP)

You too can believe and see His plans and purposes for your life fulfilled.

The Cost of Being a Disciple

Luke 14:27-29

And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?

Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,

To be Jesus disciple is such a high honor and privilege. I don’t know of anyone else I would want to follow. Wherever He leads me I will follow because He truly is the Good Shepherd that gave His life for the sheep.

Many times the devil will try to deceive people into thinking it’s so hard to follow Jesus, saying things like, “But I’m not perfect”. If you want eternal life and the blessings of God you must count up the cost. To receive life you must give up everything associated with death. A life-style influenced by sin and death breed the miseries of the curse and follows a path of destruction. We must be willing to totally eradicate everything from our old life-style that does not align itself with God and His kingdom, no matter how much we enjoyed doing or saying it.

What we receive from God in Christ is far greater than anything we can try to hold on too from our old life of sin. So, count up the cost and know it is all worth it!

By Faith

Hebrews 11:7
By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

God’s plan for Noah included his whole house. God loves people even His enemies.
God gave Noah an assignment and Noah’s obedience to that assignment brought great blessing to him and his family. God loves your family. Can you think of any family members that God has been dealing with you to reach out to? Your obedience and/or disobedience to the plans and assignments God has for your life are most always connected to other people. The plans God has for your life are very strategic and important but they will not be obtained without faith. The Bible tells us that faith comes by hearing the Word of God.
Noah heard from God. The words that God spoke to Noah produced faith. With the faith of God Noah prepared an ark and saved his whole family.

STOP, LOOK AND LISTEN! God is speaking to you by His Word and by His Holy Spirit.

Hear and Obey.
Someone maybe waiting to begin a new life with Christ, TODAY.

The Privilege of Protection

Our protection in Christ is a privilege. God loves us and He watches over His own. God is not missing in action, He is always with us. God is not just standing by in the shadows watching His family get beat up and bruised. God said stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. God says step aside, you'll not have to fight in this battle, the battle is Mine (my own paraphrasing). Our God is the Lord of Host. God is not a coward, He is the Almighty God. He is our Rock and our Fortress. He is our Conquering King! You need never be afraid, for the Lord our God is with you, He will protect and provide for you! Just dwell in Him.

Dwell defined: . to live somewhere.
Other words that mean the same as to dwell; have your home, inhabit settle.

Dwell with God and you'll always be safe!

Psalms 91 (AMP)
HE WHO [a]dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust! For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. [Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you. Only a spectator shall you be [yourself inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High] as you witness the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, There shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent. For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service]. They shall bear you up on their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

You shall tread upon the lion and adder; the young lion and the serpent shall you trample underfoot. Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he knows and understands My name [has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness--trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never forsake him, no, never]. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him My salvation.
