Excellence in Stewardship!

Colossians 3:23-24 (amp)

Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as (something done) for the Lord and not for men, Knowing (with all certainty) that it is from the Lord (and not from men) that you will receive the inheritance which is your (real) reward. (The One Whom) you are actually serving (is) the Lord Christ (the Messiah).

God has a specific plan for every life. It is not God’s responsibility to hunt you down and force you to cooperate with His plan for your life. We are to seek God diligently and inquire of Him and He will graciously reveal each step of His plan to us.

Jeremiah 33:2-3
Thus says the Lord Who made [the earth], the Lord Who formed it to establish it--the Lord is His name: Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand).

God is not selfishly hiding anything from us. God is a good God, He is a giver not a taker. It is not His nature to withhold or take away anything from you that would cause you to disobey His will for your life. The plan that God has for your life is important to Him and it should be significant to you.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5

Now, once you find out the next step in the plan of God for your life, do it with all your heart. Cultivate a life of excellence and refuse to ever do anything shabby for God. God gave His best for us; we could at least do our very best for Him.
