Who do you look like? If you could compare your character and personality with someone, who would you resemble? What people have you allowed to mold your thoughts, personality, gestures, words, attitudes, perceptions, beliefs, imaginations, life vision and purpose?
Many times people look like who they are hang around or listen to the most. Can you see and hear resemblances in your words and your chooses from particular influences from your past and/or present?
If you are a parent who influenced the way you interact with your children? Who influenced the way you live your life or the way you cultivate your marriage?
Can you see God in your ways and words? Do you look like the Father God? Can you see a resemblance of God in your personality?
You can quickly locate a person when they have spent time in fellowship with God because they look, sound and act like Him. You also can locate a person when they lack fellowship with God. When Christian's talk and act like the world most of the time it locates who they spent time with and who they are loyal to. Jesus said we are in the world but not of the world. Jesus said that we should not love the world. Love bonds us together with things and people creating an open door for soul influences or soul ties. People tend to open their lives quicker and without hesitation or question to people they trust or esteem. This can even be with people they have never met like TV personalities and people in authoritative positions.
Examine who you are allowing to influence your words, ways and who or what is shaping your destiny.
If it doesn't look like God or act like God or sound like God it isn't God.
John 8:43-45 (AMP)
Why do you misunderstand what I say? It is because you are unable to hear what I am saying. [You cannot bear to listen to My message; your ears are shut to My teaching.] You are of your father, the devil, and it is your will to practice the lusts and gratify the desires [which are characteristic] of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a falsehood, he speaks what is natural to him, for he is a liar [himself] and the father of lies and of all that is false. But because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me [do not trust Me, do not rely on Me, or adhere to Me].
