Sabotaged!

Sabotage defined:
• To damage, destroy, or disrupt something deliberately, especially in a war.
• To hinder something; to undermine or destroy somebody's efforts or achievements.
Other words similar to sabotage are: damage, disrupt, interfere with, interrupt, harm, incapacitate, and impair.

Have you ever heard of someone sabotaging someone’s promotion or sabotaging a marriage or sabotaging the plans to a big project, etc? Well, when you hear the word sabotage you can’t help but to think, “They did it on purpose”. When someone sabotages something it was generally pre-meditated. In order to successfully destroy something you need to know something about what you want to destroy. If you wanted to destroy a tall building you would not walk up to it with a plastic bat and start hitting it. No, you would want to know what it was made of so that you could bring the right equipment to bring it down. If you were serious you would not waste your time on things that would not cause destruction.
The bible says in John 10:10, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
Whether you want to admit it or not you and I have a serious enemy. He is not playing ring around the roses with us. His intention is to sabotage your entire life, little by little if need be. The enemy does not mistakenly cause persecution or afflictions to come your way, no, his does it deliberately. He wants to take your head right off. However notice in the scripture John 10:10, Jesus said, “The thief cometh.” Jesus did not say the thief destroyeth. Just because he comes to steal, kill and destroy doesn’t mean he will. Jesus gave His church power over all the power of the enemy and that nothing by any means would hurt us (Luke 10:19).
1Peter 5:8 declares, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: “
This lets us know that the devil cannot devour whomever he desires but he seeks for potential prospects. If we stay sober and continue to be vigilant he cannot harm us. The word vigilant means: watchful and alert, especially to guard against danger, difficulties, or errors.
We must remain on guard at all times, never sleeping (spiritually) or slumbering. We are not helpless prey or sitting ducks, just waiting on our turn to be the next victim for him to devour………the devil is a liar! Be strong in the Lord, my brother and my sister, God will not allow your adversary to triumph over you.
Psalms 34:19 says, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.”
You are a child of the Most High God, put your spiritual armor on and pursue your enemy and bring destruction to his kingdom. Sabotage his plans and purposes, bringing down, crushing them to mere dust particles that evaporate in the wind. Bind the strong man and deliberately spoil his goods. It’s time to disrupt the enemy’s plans and bring un-repairable damage to his evil accomplices. You have an advantage over the kingdom of darkness, you have been raised up with Christ seated in Heavenly places, ruling and reigning with the KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS!

  1. I like that the thief cometh, almost like someone stepping to you in the word to do you bodily harm. We would not allow that, no difference with the Devil*
