Blessed and Highly Favored!

Today I have been blessed and highly favored by God to turn 48 years old. This is truly a blessing of the Lord that makes rich and adds no sorrow with it. I have no sorrow about turning 48 yrs old because I am thankful to God that He has brought me this far by His love, grace and mercy. According to the world’s statistics I should either be in prison, dead or living in abject poverty because of the circumstances and environment that I was born into but thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph. I am so glad that God’s thoughts and His ways are higher than human intellect and ability. I am so glad God did not ask man’s opinion of who they thought I was or what they thought my earth journey should look like or be. God already knew who I was and who He created me to be. I was created for God’s glory and pleasure, my life to honor and praise His name forever.


I am so thankful to the Lord for being so faithful all these years; He has never, ever failed me no not once. When God tells you He will do something you can count on it. I am so glad that God is not wishy-washy. He is not for you one minute then against you the next; He is always for us for good not evil. God is never speaking pleasant words about us but in His heart plotting evil against us. God has never let a negative thought enter His mind concerning us. God’s thoughts about us are good, according to Jeremiah 29:11.

I must say living for God is a wonderful journey, one that will never end only better and better threw out eternity. Enjoy your life don’t give place to sorrow or complaining this earth’s journey is just a passing through a place of testing and maturity. Don’t hold on to it, because it won’t be long before the trumpet will sound and we will all be going home. Celebrate everyday and live it fully yielded to the masters will. He is our faithful Lord, the one we trust and adore. So live out your life to the glory of God and fulfill your entire God given days upon the earth; seeking His face and getting to know Him more and more.
