Commit your way to the Lord

Psalms 37:5, 7-8 (amp)

Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass.

Be still and rest in the Lord; wait for Him and patiently lean yourself upon Him; fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

Cease from anger and forsake wrath; fret not yourself--it tends only to evildoing.

Committing our way to the Lord should be a great delight. It should not be something we dread or approach with drudgery. God is our Father and He loves us more than we could imagine. He wants the very best for His children.

Whatever course God has set your life on to fulfill for His glory, was born out of love. So don’t struggle, worry or fret along the way. Learn to be still and rest, roll the care of the press on Him, knowing that He will never leave you or forsake you. Allow the love of God to lead you through every test to total victory. The best thought out plans will end up in the trash can of life if they are not born of love. Be confident in the plans and purposes God has for your life. Trust God with your future He is the only one qualified to bring it to pass.

  1. Sure, I know you are saying be still and rest in the Lord! You have no idea what I am going through right now. The being still and resting during your trail or whatever you may be experiencing right now that is not so pleasant, is how we prove to God that we have committed to and that we are actually trusting him and his ways. Keeping it real, if we are not still and resting during our trails etc.. it is a tale tale sign the we are not committed and trusting totally on God. Ouch that hurt!
