Habakkuk 2:1-4
I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
Today is a good day to stand still, quiet yourself before the Lord and see what he would have to say to you. In the quietness of your heart let His voice rise up and fill your whole being. God is a speaking God. The word of God reminds us in many scriptures, " He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." We are the church and God is seeking to communicate to us His will, His passion, direction, correction, instruction, life, peace,on and on. Are you listening? Purpose in your heart today to practice listening to God. Take example from the prophet Habakkuk and stand on your watch and see what God would say to you. God is searching for ears that desire to hear Him.
Yes, we really need to watch to see what he will say unto us, and how will we answer when we are reproved.
